Tim Tebow was good because Florida was good. In this video 80% of his throws were to wide open receivers, in the NFL he has to be on target EVERY throw because nobody is going to be wide open. His throwing motion and mechanics are horrible and I dont think he will be good under pressure. When it comes to scrambling he isnt that fast and he isnt going to lower his shoulder into guys like Patrick Willis or Jon Beason either. I would have taken him as a 3rd round backup QB or wildcat type player.

The throwing motion means squat. If your hung up on that you need to get a clue. What is going to make him is whether he can mentally adjust to the speed of the game. He was always ahead at college now he is playing against the best of the college athletes times every year for the last 10 years or so. If Tebow can continue to be ahead he will be just fine, but to focus on one thing considering the NFL has about 10 different throwing motions on display at the moment is thinking poorly.

Who knows…Bernie Kosar had an odd delivery. He was great for a spell. But this guy’s receivers seem to have to slow down/stop/reverse direction to catch his passes. I hope for the sake of quality human beings that he has a nice career. Just glad the Niners didn’t lose their collective minds and take this guy.

All his throwing “highlights” are against shitty teams when there up 20+.
I sure am glad my Broncos drafted him, we need another good play making TE since we lost Scheffler.

Ok, but I think he’s NFL ready……..however, he will be COMPLETLEY ready in a year or two……
I mean, he was a beast in high school and college, so why not in the NFL?
And I know the NFL is a faster paced game, but I think he’s got the talent and dedication to do so.

Tebow has fantastic work ethic and determination, and everyone knows that.
Yes, he’s a great college and high school football player….actually, the best in college. But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have what it takes for the pros.
And, he fixed his throwing motion, so he’ll do fine…..he’s got the talent………I bet Tebow will do better than Brady Quinn, anyway.
