@nohomo45 This post does a lot to dispel the notion that Jets fans are idiots.

The Jets QB is Richard Nixon’s wife,
Pat Ryan

@BlackNGoldRules Thats what they used to do in college until safety regulations stopped colleges from the celibrating, it was nice to see that because no other team at the time did it, the Bills fans really take this team to heart, when they win we feel we won, and when they loss we felt like we loss during those times..
July 5th, 2010 at 7:33 pm
Wow! Making that big a deal over a division title? wtf! lol
July 5th, 2010 at 7:34 pm
bills fans are so barbaric – rushing the field and taking down the goal posts – neanderthals lol
July 5th, 2010 at 8:06 pm
i meant 6:16 TARDDDDDD
July 5th, 2010 at 8:48 pm

“Norwood misses a 47 yarder” before halftime. Haven’t I heard that somewhere else before???

@Jikk
“Obviously football is more physically demanding. It’s already been proven.”
Where is this “proof”?
So if you think football is a more physically demanding sport, then you would accept my challenge to meet at center ice? You won’t look like a “girl”, but your dead body will look hilarious “sliding around on the ice”.
July 5th, 2010 at 11:10 pm
Obviously football is more physically demanding. It’s already been proven. Why do you think they only play 16 games? Secondly, you’ve never played football, so your comment is biased.
Seriously, sliding around on ice like a girl is that demanding huh? A hockey player wouldn’t last more than ONE play in the NFL. I bet you think soccer players are warriors too huh? Lmao.

@nohomo45 Thanks for “Clearly” explaining this subject

its funny how you think the bills as a team choked in their first super bowl. the bills didnt choke their kicker did. they drove down the field got the ball within striking distance and their kicker pushed it wide right. kickers are some of the most disposable positions in the nfl.
July 6th, 2010 at 12:18 am
One of the few highlights in Bills history. If only Buffalo would’ve played like this during the Big Game. I bet all you Bills fans are jealous over the New Orleans Saints 1st Super Bowl victory. At least the Saints didn’t choke during the most important game of the year. The snap…the kick…WIDE RIGHT, hahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!

Don’t be too bad on him. He’s just trying to remember great games, classic matchups. You would have to live those years to understand.

@rangerbuffalo
I watched that game, and the Chargers had no heart. They felt entitled to win, and they got beat. And the Chargers gave Norv Turner a contract extention after that mess? No wonder that the chargers haven’t won a world championship in nearly 40 years.
They shouldn’t have extended Turner, and they should have offered all the fans at the game a full refund for their tickets.
July 6th, 2010 at 1:14 am
The Bills sucked this year…but they still beat your Jets. Intercepted Sanchez 5 times.
Don’t get all high on the Jets. They lucked into the playoffs. Colts and Bengals benched their players. And if Kaeding could make a FG they would have lost to the chargers.
July 6th, 2010 at 1:45 am
it’s pretty sad how u gotta live moments from 20 years ago cause da bills r shit now any time dey play da jets now the jets run up and down da field on dem
July 6th, 2010 at 1:47 am
@Threadoflength
Unfair!
Norwood was clutch 9 out of ten times in the clutch. I will admit, though, the tenth time really sucked!
July 6th, 2010 at 2:33 am
it’s funny that you can see scott norwood looking like a nervous nelly even back in ‘88
July 6th, 2010 at 2:56 am
How about classic Bills games against…
-the Jets, at Shea Stadium11/13/83, where the Bills came back from 14-0 down to win, 24-17.
-the Dolphins, at home on Opening day 1980, where they broke their 1970s skid against the Fish and won, 17-7.
-Opening Day 1991 at home with Miami, winning a wild 35-31 game.
-the 1988 games with the Patriots, each won in the end by Scott Norwood FG’s.
Thanx, BillCody.

@rutgerhauer666
I don’t really think football players are pussies either. Some would argue that playing more than 16 games puts the QB at risk of getting injured and screwing the team over in the playoffs. However, you could argue the same about a goalie in hockey, only you dont see them playing 16 games…
Honestly, it comes down to corperate BS in the NFL as to why they don’t play more. HS & college teams play limited games because the players also have “educational” commitments.
July 6th, 2010 at 3:48 am
I would meet you at center ice if I knew how to skate.
But seriously, I know that hockey players are in amazing physical shape. No argument there.
But why do you think NFL players only play 16 games a year? Here’s a hint: It’s not because they’re wimps.
July 6th, 2010 at 4:12 am
@rutgerhauer666
Football more physically demanding? Thanks for the laughs. I would like to see a football jock play ONE GAME of hockey. I’ll put money on him sucking oxygen and refusing to come out of the lockerroom after the first period like a bitch.
Sounds like you’re the one who’s delusional, calling hockey a “tiddly-winks” sport. Put on some hockey gear and meet me at center ice; we’ll see how fast you change your opinion of the sport. That is, once you come out of the concussion.
July 6th, 2010 at 4:37 am
Pal, there’s a reason why high school, college, and pro football teams only play one game a week. It’s because it’s the most physically demanding sport there is.
Trust me, with all the money in the sport, if the NFL could get teams to play 2 games a week, they would. Players cannot physically withstand the pounding. It makes hockey look like tiddly-winks. Get a clue.
