June 29th, 2010 at 8:48 am
@cehamlet89 nope. there is a bias against defensive players and an even bigger bias against defensive backs. he will get in one day its just a matter of when

June 29th, 2010 at 10:15 am

June 29th, 2010 at 10:21 am
There is NO WAY that Atwater could hit harder the John Lynch.
June 29th, 2010 at 10:31 am

Atwater was a big(6-3,213),physical intimidator & tempo-setter.He played bigger, got his opponents’ attention & attacked the line hard vs the run & blew up ball carriers. He unloaded on receivers in his area & was a strong blitzer. He had awareness & feel for the game, took good angles & was a punishing tackler. He moved well laterally & delivered jarring blows. He had quite good range in two-deep coverage because he always got good breaks on the ball & had good body control. He was a crushing hitter

Okoye couldn’t run Atwater over & Atwater decked him. Maybe you need to look at this footage again.

June 29th, 2010 at 2:39 pm
“christian still in….. Bust his ass”
June 29th, 2010 at 2:42 pm
You are right on that one concerning Bavaro and Warren. I was either thinking of Dennis Smith or Braxton. Brent Jones, he played against in 1989, his first year.
June 29th, 2010 at 3:18 pm
he never played in super bowls vs bavaro or warren or brent jones, his first year was 1989, and he killed the packers in the super bowl
June 29th, 2010 at 4:04 pm
Yeah Okoye had the chance but he didn’t deliver so dry your tears. Yeah he may have lost in those super bowls but to go out on top like he did with back to back rings. come on don’t hate Ariamaluum. Atwater was the man and i hate to tell you this but don’t hurt urself when Atwater get inducted to the Hall of Fame… He is bad ASS!!
June 29th, 2010 at 4:14 pm
@gnatsrevlis. You put an tight end on him, he wore down a bit. That was the case in those Super Bowl losses. Mark Bavaro, Don Warren, and Brent Jones kicked his ass.
June 29th, 2010 at 4:16 pm
okoye should of ran his ass over
June 29th, 2010 at 4:44 pm
nah cause you gotta remember safeties are often unblocked
June 29th, 2010 at 5:30 pm
